|Recommended: YesWe love it — The Strand is amazing
|Recommended: YesNew — The Strand is top notch, for a large community it is pleasantly quiet and very well kept. The views here are amazing, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.
|Recommended: YesGreat location, good facility and good staff. — Overall a good location and good facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Disappointed with noise issues. We have had to make several complaints for loud music and parties from 12 am - 6 am.
|Recommended: YesGreat Apartment — Good management and maintenance. Building is in good condition overall and parking is not as bad as people make it out to be. Concierge staff are very cool and helpful. Only suggestion would be serving drinks at the bar every now and then.
|Recommended: YesNot a bad place to live, given the price and the location. — A few comments on why I rated things the way I did. At first the parking was less than desirable. My husband and I are both disabled and it became increasingly problematic to find a handicap parking space. They were almost always taken and many times, the people parking in them were clearly NOT disabled. I know. We ran into a few of them. However, we rectified the situation by paying for three spots all together. And now the parking situation has been resolved. Regarding the quality of the construction. This building was clearly built in a hurry. Corners were cut and quality suffered accordingly. Then again, we were new home builders in Houston, building homes that sold for close to 1M. So the quality of the appliances, finishes, and overall construction was accordingly much higher. That said, this is overall a great property and the ladies in the leasing office couldn't be more helpful
|Recommended: YesGreat Place — Great place to live especially if someone is working in downtown.
|Recommended: YesExciting place to live — I would have given 5 stars for the appearance of the Strand, but sine it said entire community, I had to mark it down one star because of all of the on-going construction. Otherwise, this is a great place to live. I love my view The 4th of July and NYE fireworks right outside my balcony are spectacular. Easy access to freeways and the airport.
|Recommended: YesA great place to live. . . — The Strand is a great place to live. The building is clean, the staff is very responsive, and it is right on the South Bank River walk. My apartment is spacious, my view us awesome, and there is a coffee maker in the lobby Finally, it is a pedestrians dream. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance, the skyway express is a short walk for the people who work downtown, Baptist hospital is within walking distance unless youre sick or injured, I would drive then . Overall, this is a great place to live.
